We’re Lin and Jun — a wife-and-husband team behind Lin Wang Photo. We moved to Australia in 2005, and over time it became more than just a place we lived — it became home.
Our journey took us through Sydney, then Brisbane, and eventually led us to where we are now, settled on the beautiful Gold Coast.
This place has shaped us in quiet but meaningful ways. The ocean mornings, long beach days, misty hinterland drives, mountain air, and the easy warmth of the people — it all feels grounding and familiar.
Australia is where our roots grew deeper, where life slowed just enough to be felt. No matter where we go, this is the place our hearts return to.
Our Story
At heart, we are life and story photographers.
I’m Lin, the lead photographer you’ll see behind the camera most of the time. Alongside me is my husband, Jun — our second shooter and operations manager, quietly making sure everything flows with ease while capturing moments from another thoughtful perspective. Together, we photograph people — all seasons of life, big and small.
I’ve been photographing humans and their stories for over a decade, and I still believe this is the best “job” in the world, because it rarely feels like work. Every family, every couple, every individual who steps in front of my lens leaves an imprint on me. Their stories shape mine — and that exchange is the reason I keep showing up with my whole heart.
From weddings and elopements to family photos, maternity, events, and everyday portraits, our work is about connection. Not perfection. Not performance. Just real people, as they are, in moments that matter to them.

Our philosophy is simple: experience comes first.
We believe the most meaningful photographs happen when people feel comfortable, present, and free to be themselves — whether that looks like playful chaos with your children, quiet reflection during maternity, shared laughter at an event, or a tender moment between two people. No stiff posing. No pressure to perform. Just real life, unfolding naturally.
We approach every session the same way — with patience, curiosity, and care. We observe more than we direct, gently guide when needed, and leave room for moments to happen on their own. The goal is never perfection, but connection.
We photograph people as they are, in the season they’re in. The joy, the movement, the in-between moments, the fleeting expressions that often go unnoticed — these are the details that turn photographs into memories.
